The Department of Home Affairs has issued Immigration Circular No. 13 of 2024 (dated 20 November 2024), which introduces a temporary adjustment to appeal application deadlines.
π Whatβs Changed?
1) Applicants must still register their appeal application online within 10 working days of uplifting their rejection notice and keep proof thereof.
2) However, the actual submission of the appeal can now be made on the first available date, even if it falls after the 10-working-day window.
ποΈ This deviation from standard practice is valid until 31 March 2025.
